EnOcean Demo

This myHomeControl® Project has been developed in cooperation with EnOcean GmbH in Germany. The project demonstrates the operation principle of various EnOcean products and is used on fairs and different events..

Various EnOcean - radio communication based devices e.g. rocker push buttons, brightness- and temperature sensors, can be attached to the demonstrator and be visualized. The project shows typical use cases of building control:

Optimized Light Control (top)
A outside brightness sensor measures the light intensity. The light lines of the meeting room will be switched on or off automatically according to the measured values.
Energy-efficient Heating (top left)
A room temperature sensor provides the actual room temperature as well as the temperature set point. The radiators are controlled according to the temperature values. A open window interrupts the heating.
Energy-efficient Cooling (bottom left)
A room temperature sensor provides the actual room temperature as well as the temperature set point. The air conditioning is controlled according to the temperature values. A open window interrupts the cooling.
Comfort (top right)
This room illustrates the different opportunities for individual blind and light control as well as integration of blinds and lights into scenes.
Energy-efficient Office (bottom right)
Occupancy- and chair sensors are used to automatically turns off lights in case there is no request.
Central OFF (middle)
The Central-OFF function turns off light in the whole building.

The project is split into 2 parts :

ONLINE
EnOcean sensors will be teached to this part of the project. The functions and the visualization of myHomeControl® react live to the signals sent by the various sensors.
SIMULATION
This part of the project is similar to the ONLINE part, but it is used in case no sensors are available. Therefore all sensor provide input fieds to enter simulation values.

Both parts of the project have been realised as floor elements. Therefore there is a virtual floor called ONLINE and a second virtual floor called SIMULATION.

The EnOcean Demo - procject is part of the myHomeControl® installation and can be found in folder containing the demo projects.
